For all the functionality and freedom that modern prosthetics provide, they still cannot give their users a sense of what they’re touching. That may soon change thanks to an innovative electrode capable of connecting a prosthetic arm’s robotic sense of touch to the human nervous system that it’s attached to. It reportedly allows its users to feel heat, cold and pressure by stimulating the ulnar and median nerves of the upper arm.
apparently the key to happiness is to have a long and shitty winter
and if you can’t have that, surround yourself with deadly wildlife
or maybe these countries have free or reasonably priced health care, good education and costs nothing or very little, marriage equality(not all do however on the list but they at least aren’t extremely homophobic either), decent minimum wages, stable economies, low crime rates and so forth and also deadly wildlife because we protect our environment
I’m very proud to say that I am a part of the amazing RT community. Sadly, RT fans where on a road trip to a convention and got into an accident leaving 3 dead and 2 serious condition. Friends of the victims set a gofundme account to help with funeral and recovery costs and the response from the RT community is unbelievable. Many have sent donations and then I noticed that Burnie Burns and Ray Narvaez Jr. made donations to this cause as well. I was just struck with amazement that with out a seconds notice, both have made a sizeable donation to this. The fact that the people at RoosterTeeth are so in touch with the community and so willing to help out is because they truly care. What this shows me is that money does not matter to them, as long as they are able to help the community in any way shape or form and that makes me really proud to be a part of this community and proud of a company that truly cares about its community as well.

"As some of you may have heard, a group from our community has suffered an incredible tragedy. Five friends were on a road trip from Virginia to Texas when their car was struck by another vehicle traveling in the wrong direction on the freeway. Three of the passengers died as a result of the collision while two others, Kevin DiCicco and Hannah Galbraith, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Kevin has been released from the hospital but Hannah is still in intensive care recovering from her injuries. Both of them and all of their families will need whatever love, prayer and support you can offer. This is an unbelievable tragedy for so many people. Our hearts go out to all of them.
