Because we all need to hear this sometimes.

fishcustardandclintbarton:

I’ve been having a bad couple of weeks and I just really needed to hear these:

  • You are NOT a burden
  • You are valued
  • You are NOT a shitty friend, even when you think you are
  • You don’t need to have it all figured out yet
  • It’s OK to have bad days
  • And it’s OK to hide from the world if you’re having a bad day
  • Because sometimes you just need to have some time to yourself
  • And that’s OK
  • You don’t have to do anything that you don’t want to
  • What happened to you in the past is NOT your fault
  • Don’t feel guilty for not being productive
  • It’s going to be OK
  • Breathe
  • Relax
  • Recharge
  • YOU ARE WANTED
  • YOU ARE LOVED
  • YOU CAN DO THIS
  • I BELIEVE IN YOU

Updates from Steven Universe panel at San Diego comic-con

stevenuniverseparallels:

Sardonyx is a fusion between Pearl and Garnet.

There is an extended version of the theme that Steven wrote as a small child.

Yellow Diamond’s shape was revealed. Or if it’s not Yellow Diamond it’s some other menacing gem.

Steven is the first gem to ever use male pronouns but gems are free to identify how they want.

There will be future episodes revolving around the fallen gems.

Future episodes with Ruby and Sapphire backstory and how Rose Quartz met each of them crystal gems.

it’s not your job to entertain him by sending him nudes

it’s not your job to satisfy him sexually because he’s horny

you are not required to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or that you don’t want to do

don’t be scared of “losing him”

he most likely wasn’t anything worth keeping

Girls need to be taught this from such an early age.

a boner is not a medical condition. you are under no obligation to do anything.

Strong words to use on a Resume

If you have ever had to write a resume for work or for an application, then you know the hardest part is figuring out what type of words to use that sound professional and and intelligent.

Example: If an application asks you if you have any relevant experience for a job at a day care center and you have experience, like you have babysat children. You would look at the words in the columns to see what words you should use that will help your resume stand out. You might put down “Have supervised and attended to children on a regular basis.”

I hope this is helpful to you.

Now this is a great resume list of action words.  I love that it’s broken down by types of jobs.  Saving for future use.

Need this

here you go my love ☺️

I find I grow impatient with Muslims who question me and why I became Muslim myself. Not in the way that they’re interested in my story, but in the way that they want to see if I’m sincere about Islam.

Let me say this, no person would willingly put themselves through the torment of converting if they weren’t sincere about this religion.

Do you know what it’s like for your friends to turn their back on you?
Do you know what it’s like for your mother to say she has never been more disappointed in you in her lifetime?
Do you know what it’s like to be questioned if you did this for a person you like? (This one I find the most insulting)
Do you know what it’s like to wake up for suhoor, alone, celebrate eid, alone, make salat, alone?
Do you know what it’s like to walk into a mosque and feel different from everyone else?
Do you know what its like to sit through a religious service you don’t agree with to appease your parents?
Do you know what it’s like realizing that the only way you knew how to get married is suddenly unacceptable and you don’t really know how to meet someone, how to adjust yourself to the new way, or who you can marry because most parents don’t want someone from a different culture?
Do you know what it’s like explaining why you became Muslim to a friend and expecting them to desert you afterwards?
Do you know what it’s like to give up everything you know, to listen to an orphan who lived 1400 years ago?
Do you know what it’s like to question yourself on whether you really believe any of this at all, that maybe it was a mistake, that maybe all of this is for naught?
Do you know what it’s like to cry because you don’t know where you belong?

I do.

We said the shahada prepared to face scrutiny from our family and friends, but not from other Muslims.

On behalf of the reverts,
Do not second guess me, do not second guess us.

We said the shahada prepared to face scrutiny from our family and friends, but not from other Muslims.

This.

Just gonna say this is actually the first picture I’ve actually seen of wounded female veterans. Now that I think about it they are (in my eyes at least) hugely forgotten. Some female service members have been in combat and hit by IEDs outside the wire but it’s always the males you hear about and never the females. I think this picture is great and everyone should see it so please share it!

Anonymous asked:

I'm married and I'm messing with a married man. A few days ago he told me he has caught feelings. I did fall in love with him but I can't bring myself to tell him in fear that he may be playing with my emotions. We've been messing around for almost three years, is it possible he is telling the truth?

kingjaffejoffer Answer:

It’s possible. But you shouldn’t get a divorce because you caught feelings for the person you’re cheating with. Here’s why:

This analogy may seem weird at first, but humor me for a second.

You know how children always love their aunts and uncles? Aunts and uncles are fun because they buy you stuff, they’re always happy to see you. They’re not always on your case about shit like your parents.

Aunts and Uncles are fun because they only have to see you when they want to. They don’t have to deal with you 24hrs a day, feed you, clothe you, discipline you, make you do homework. They aren’t your parents so they don’t have the responsibility of the dirty work. That’s why they seem so great.

This nigga you’re cheating with is an “uncle”.

He’s not tasked with the dirty work. Managing bills with you, running a home with you. Smelling your period farts when its that time of the month. Seeing you looking busted when you take that sew in out and don’t have any makeup on.

Your husband deals with that shit on the daily. Your husband represents real life and the not-so-fun things that come with it. That’s why the side nigga seems so great. Your side nigga is a vacation from the responsibilities in your real life.

I’m not telling you not to cheat. I’m just telling you not to throw away your marriage for greener pastures. Because if you do… your side nigga won’t be the “uncle” anymore… Things won’t be so great. And you might regret your decision.
