Reblog if you think it’s bad for a parent to monitor their child online

percyjacksonluvr:

I’m furious. I’ve just discovered that my moms computer settings send her an email every week of the websites I visit and how much time I spend on them. Please reblog if you agree that this is wrong. I feel like she doesn’t trust me and I can’t vent safely online (which is why I’m on mobile rn).

I no longer have any privacy. My trust has been violated. This is WRONG.

Eco-Friendly Alternative to Coffins

Project designers, Anna Citelli and Raoul Bretzel have constructed a biodegradable, organic capsule as an alternative to a coffin called, “The Capsula Mundi.” The purpose of the project is a conceptually and physically beautiful one; it is to reunite the deceased body back with nature and life. After the deceased is buried in a fetal position inside the pod, a tree seed or tree will be planted above the capsule. Within time the body’s nutrients will nurture the ground, causing a tree to grow from the remains.

Instead of harming the environment by chopping down trees for wooden coffins and burying them, the project’s aim is to promote green cemeteries adorned with trees, you can chose. Originally conceived in Italy, the project is a working theory at the moment because Italian law forbids this type of burial. The goal is to comfort loved ones with a majestic body of nature they can visit. “A cemetery will no longer be full of tombstones and will become a sacred forest.”

View the process below.

The client will choose the tree.

Also there is the potential for the spirit of the vengeful dead to inhabit the tree, turning it into a nightmarish horror bent on devouring all things.

But that’s a minor issue.

The Alien Beauty Of Jellyfish In Alexander Semenov ’s New Photos

Russian marine biologist and underwater photographer Alexander Semenov is back with some new extraordinary photographs of the deep sea aliens. Alexander is currently leading a team of scientists on a three-year-long Aquatilis expedition to explore the deep waters around the world.

The aim of Aguatilis expedition is to reveal the hidden animal kingdom living miles under the surface. “You can’t actually study gelata in labs or in an aquarium, because their bodies can fall apart from a single human touch”, explains the team of Aquatilis. The team uses innovative equipment and even a robot in order to capture the jellyfish.

Hello All!!   Welcome to our tumblr q and a.  Excited to be here to answer your questions.  Ask away.

Why are we still drone attacking families in the middle east?

Why is Gitmo still open and functioning and torturing political prisoners and prisoners of war?

Why are US police allowed to gun down black people in massive numbers without repercussion?

Why are we still prosecuting PoC for marijuana possession while white people profit from producing and selling it?

Why are we still supporting Israel while they commit genocide on Palestinian people?

Why can we not go to a mental health care professional and have it covered under this supposedly great new healthcare system?

Why does my unemployed mother have to pay for her blood pressure medication despite having healthcare coverage?

Why do 20,000+ people on various native reservations in the southwestern US have no running water while people in Arizona water their lawns?

Why are you still detaining children in inhumane and unsafe conditions while holding their parents indefinitely for deportation?

Why do people still have to travel for hours and hours and pay hundreds to thousands of dollars for a safe abortion?

Why are we still allowing child abuse in the form of conversion therapy, genital mutilation of intersex individuals, and other anti-MOGAI actions?

When are you going to rein in US corporations who are funding child and slave labor and other serious human rights violations?

When are you going to actually do anything to cut our global warming gas (not just carbon) emissions?

How many of these questions are you actually going to answer, or will you just run back to your social media office with your tail between your legs like the fucking cowards you are?

I keep seeing posts with people going on about being “bullied” for being not white.
“OMG when I was little, people teased me because I have an ethnic last name that is hard to pronounce!”

“When I was in preschool, kids made fun of my lunch because my mom packed Chinese food and all the other kids had lunchables! TRIGGERED.”

“I HATE WHITE PEOPLE because I was made fun of in 8th grade for wearing a bindi! Those evil white kids!”

You know what? I’m white, and all the other white kids made fun of me in gym because I had chubby little toes so they all started calling me ‘sausage toes’. You are NOT special, kids will literally make fun of people for anything. It’s not because you aren’t white, it’s because kids are stupid! Everybody was made fun of for something while they were in school. Sit down, drink a glass of water, quit being a whiny bitch and GET OVER IT.

kenkvneki:

Growing up, I was always made fun of for my dark skin and desi features. People joked about me being a terrorist because of my religion. People joked about me being made of dirt because I was dark. People joked about me smelling like curry because I was desi.

Now I see that my whole culture is a trend and that the people who grew up making fun of me, is now wearing bindis to Coachella and getting their henna done in the summer. I find it repulsive.
Brown girls all over the world, let’s reclaim the bindi!
