Hello! My name is Spencer, I am an 18 year old transgender boy from Washington. I have been out and presenting as male since I as 16, and am lucky enough to have a loving, supportive family and great friends. The one problem is I don’t have the money required to physically transition. My mother suffers from chronic health problem so she cannot work, and I am a full time cosmetology school and high school student, which doesn’t allow me the time to have a job myself. My family is on food stamps, and I am trying to find a way to pay for my transition that won’t put more strain on them. I would feel too selfish asking for any money from my family, even if there was any to give, but the discomfort I have with my body is becoming almost too much for me to bear, and wearing my binder for 10 hours a day while in school is affecting my health (but being in public without it causes me extreme anxiety). I am starting to feel emotionally crushed by my own physical being, and am truly in need of help. So I am coming to you, fine people of the internet! If you have anything you’re willing to donate, I would be forever grateful!

So. Let me tell you about the day I took this video. It was the 1 year anniversary of my open heart surgery. It’s about a year old, and I’d say it’s pretty safe to say I’ve improved since then. In case you don’t agree, let’s take a look at some more at my exaggerated waddling.

Oh wait… that’s not it, is it? It sort of seems like the opposite. Almost as though the ability to dance is based on strength, effort and passion and not on being skinny. Strange concept I know, let’s see if you can wrap your tiny little mind around it.
So these are the poisonous coils I had taken out of me Monday, along with my fulopian tubes. These are called Essure permanent birth control coils. I had them placed 6weeks after having SAV via c-section. So once the side effects started only weeks later, I jus assumed it was part of my body still healing from the pregnancy and the c-section. After a few months I decided I should probably have some of my symptoms checked out becus surly I wasn’t still healing months later. Come to fine out I wasn’t the only one suffering from major side effects from essure. There are 30,000 women suffering. And this product is still being placed in women.
My insurance company happily paid to have these coil placed in my fulopian tubes. When I decided I’d had enough and requested they flip the bill to have them removed they refused. I had to pay for the entire surgery out of pocket. I’m not gonna say how much it was but I could have bought a brand new car with the money I spent on removal.
Now that they are out and I am healing, I’ve joined Erin Brockovich in trying to find a loop hole in California’s laws to have this produced recalled and start a class act law suit against BAYER for full reimbursement of removal cost and pain and suffering for the last 3 years.
PLEASE DO NOT GET THESE ESSURE COILS IMPLANTED, OR ALLOW ANY WOMAN YOU KNOW TO GET THEM. PLEASE REBLOG THIS POST TO EDUCATE OTHER WOMEN WHO MAY NOT KNOW THE RISK AN ARE CONSIDERING GETTING THEM.
