Since tomorrow is milk bath night, I decided to spice it up a little and make my own bath bombs!

All of the ingredients were easily found at a local grocery store, and cost THE SAME AS TWO BATH BOMBS FROM LUSH! But I got 8 out of one batch! And its so fun and easy, I had to share. c:

 Ingredients:

-1 cup citric acid -

2 cups baking soda

-¼ cup Epsom salt

-Skin-safe essential oils for fragrance

-20 drops food coloring

-1 oz coconut oil

-1 tsp lemon juice

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl with a whisk. In a spray bottle, sauce bottle, or from a dropper, slowly add the combined liquid ingredients in small amounts, incorporating completely. Overfill a mold or cookie cutter with the mixture and press firmly, packing in as much mixture as possible. Allow to sit in the mold for five to ten minutes before slowly and gently removing. More pressure and time in the mold allows for stronger bath bombs. Allow to air dry for at least one day (more in a humid environment), and enjoy!

If you have biodegradable glitter or dried flowers or confetti, try adding that too! But try to avoid anything sugar based, as it is prone to cause yeast infections. And please find pure essential oils for this project; do NOT use diffuser oils! They really do fizz about like the Lush bath bombs! I’m so excited to use mine tomorrow! ❤
