remember the blind, deaf, hard of hearing, disabled asians.
remember the loud and confident asians.
remember the asians who affected history.
remember the asians who aren’t korean, japanese, chinese, filipino, vietnamese, indian, etc. remember the islanders.
remember the asians who have hard times bonding with classmates, teachers, staff, coworkers, or doing tests and evaluations because of the “smart asian” stereotypes.
remember the asians who work in writing and fiction and charities and “non-conventional jobs.”
remember the asians who have depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, disassociation, paranoia, and other mental illnesses.
remember the asians who are muslim, atheist, hindu, buddhist, jewish, taoist.
remember the asians who were and are bullied, who have abandonment issues, who get scared alone at night, who’ve never had friends to support them, who struggle.
remember the asians who have support groups, who have supportive family, who find out more about themselves each day.
remember the asians who can’t speak their mother tongue, who are disconnected from their culture, who aren’t used to the taste of their cultural dishes.
remember the lgbtq+ asians, the asians who are aro/ace, the asians who are pan, bi, gay, lesbian, wlwoc, mlmoc, trans, agender, genderfluid, intersex, questioning.
remember the southeastern asians, the central asians, the western asians, the eastern asians.
remember the asian girls, the asian boys, the nonbinary asians, the third gender asians.
remember dark skinned asians, black asians, mixed asians, biracial asians, multiracial asians, old asians, young asians, elderly asians, newborn asians.
