I once lost a job because my hair was blonde. I worked as a door to door sales men and one week I wasn’t really feeling it this was 2 days before i dyed it blonde. I didn’t sell as much and my boss was disappointed and his assistant said it was because of my hair and he also started saying really harsh things. My boss gave me my check in advance so I can buy hair dye in advance saying that if I didn’t come back to work with black hair I’d be fired, the following day I arrived with black hair and my boss was happy I worked for two weeks and actually started selling even less. I quit the job, re-dyed my hair and found another at a nature museum.
